Shopping for Items
You can browse for items via the navigation menu (“Shop Categories”) that appears at the top of every store webpage. Items are divided into major product categories and subcategories. Once a subcategory is selected, a side-bar of options appears. From there you can filter items by price and other parameters (we will be adding more over time). You can also sort items (ascending and descending) by price and alphabetical order.
You can also search for items using the search bar that appears at the top of every store webpage. We are continuously making improvements to how search works.

Placing an Order – In-Stock Items
You can add the quantity of items you want using the “add to cart” button or increase/decrease quantity when viewing your cart. Some items (e.g. limited release products) have a maximum purchase amount. To exceed this amount, please contact us.
Note about vintages: If an item does not have the vintage in the title/item name, we do not guarantee a specific vintage unless we explicitly advertise that vintage for sale. Must be 21 or older to make purchases.
Placing an Order – Out-of-Stock Items
If an item is not in stock in stores or online, we can create a special order for that item from our distributors that is usually ready for store pick up or to ship within two business days. This does NOT apply to limited release and seasonal items, particularly beer / kegs. Use our contact form to inquire about an out-of-stock item. Must be 21 or older to make purchases.
At this time, we offer "Ship to Store" / "Pick Up" as a delivery option for local customers interested in wine, beer, and physical gift cards. For customers interested in having wine shipped, we ship via FedEX and UPS where it is legal to do so. At this time, we have no immediate plans to ship beer. Kegs cannot be shipped, but in some instances, can be delivered locally for large event orders. Read more about shipping, pick up, and delivery below.
We currently accept major credit cards issued to U.S. addresses. Payment may be authorized after checkout, but is not processed until the order is confirmed via email. Triangle Wine Company gift cards may also be used at checkout.
We can only guarantee the authenticity of gift cards if they are acquired through trianglewineco.com and Triangle Wine Company stores. Triangle Wine Company is not responsible for lost, stolen (incl. unauthorized use), or damaged gift cards. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash unless required by law in specific states. Call 1-800-919-7518 to check a gift card's balance. In the first quarter of 2017, we will offer e-gift cards.
Discounts and Sales
Discount codes (sometimes appearing as "coupons") advertised by Triangle Wine Company via trianglewineco.com, official/verified Triangle Wine Company social media pages, paid online and print advertisements, and Triange Wine Company email newsletters will explicitly state if the code is only for online or in-store purchases. If restrictions / exclusions apply to a discount or sale, this will be stated. Discounts on individual items in stores are not applicable online unless the item is clearly marked as being "on sale" (displaying the regular price and sale price) on the website. All sales are considered final and "While Supplies Last". Online site-wide or product category discount codes (e.g. "10% off Wine") are usually not applied to individual items on sale.
You may checkout as a guest or create an account with an email address to sign in. Whether you are a new customer or already signed up for our email list, if you choose to create an account you will be prompted to create a password and possibly complete some required fields (such as phone number for billing) upon check out.

By placing an order you verify that you and order recipients are at least 21 years of age. At the time of delivery the order recipient must sign an age verification receipt stating that they are at least 21 years of age and must present a valid driver’s license, military ID, passport, or State ID for identification.
Shipping to multiple addresses
One order cannot be split and shipped to multiple addresses.

We are able to ship to the following states:
The shipping rate will be based on the weight of the contents. The rate includes packaging materials unless otherwise stated. Our shipping containers are sized for 1 bottle, 2 bottles, 3 bottles, 6 bottles and 12 bottles. The rate for each selection will be reflected in your shopping cart and will update as items in the cart are added or removed. Please note that your shipping costs are estimated. We will email or call you with any shipping charge adjustments for your approval. We ship by FedEx Ground and UPS Ground. Shipments may also be delayed due to weather conditions. We strongly recommend that you use a business address whenever possible when shipping wine, as someone 21 or older must be available to sign for the shipment. Wine cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes.
If any communication from this web site is not in conformity with any jurisdiction rules and regulations governing solicitation, advertising, shipping and/or transacting business in such jurisdiction, then such communication and any offers made herein in connection therewith, shall be void to the extent prohibited by law.
Store Pick Up of In Stock Items
Upon checkout, select the store, date, and pick up time of your choice. While the earliest pick up time option is a default 48 hours from check out, in-stock items are typically ready for pick up the same day.
Confirmed orders must be picked up with 14 days, or items will be restocked and a refund will be issued. Please note store location open and closing hours if you choose to pick up your order outside of the confirmed time slot.
Only adults over 21 years of age (with photo identification) can pick up an order. If someone other than you will be picking up an order, please indicate in the notes section of checkout the name(s) or contact us.
Store Pick Up of Out of Stock Items
Special Orders of items not in stock will typically require 48 hours before they are ready for pickup. We will contact you if there is any delay.
Contact us for local delivery of large orders (e.g. weddings, corporate events) and kegs. Delivery fee varies by product amount, distance, etc. We are also partnered with Shipt for home delivery (orders are placed via the Shipt website and app; prices/availability may differ).
Returns and Exchanges
Returns of undamaged/unopened items are processed up to 14 days after purchase. You may return an item to any Triangle Wine Company location.
Spoiled items and items damaged due to natural causes will be replaced with the same item or an item of equal or greater value.
